John Jewell

 

Director

 

Director Jewell is a life long resident of Watertown. Appointed WEMA Director in 2008, Mr. Jewell brings a background of fire supression and business. Chief of Watertown Fire & Rescue, Graduate of Cumberland College, and a B.S. from Middle TN State University.

Doug McQuarry

 

Assistant EMS Chief

McQuarry joined Wilson County Civil Defense in 1972 as a Volunteer. In 1975 he became a full-time employee. In 1984, McQuarry was promoted to Assistant Chief.

Keith Taylor

 

Assistant Fire Chief

Keith joined the agency in 1980. He was promoted to Battalion Chief in 1982, and in 1999 was promoted to Assistant Chief.

Brian Newberry

 

Training Officer



The training officer has full time responsibilities of instructing and/or managing classes in Emergency Medical Services, Fire Suppression, Rescue, Terrorism, and Hazardous Materials. Additional duties include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of EMS runs, reporting information to state and federal government for staticial analysis as well as public health monitoring for bioterrrorism events.

Brian has served WEMA and Wilson County for over 15 years.

Christopher Andrews

 

Information Systems Analyst

 


Chris joined WEMA as a volunteer in 2005. He became a full-time firefighter in early 2006, and was promoted to Information Systems Analyst in mid 2006. Chris has responsibilities of maintaining the WEMA network infrastructure and webpage.

Dee Lineberger

 

Planning Officer


Dee Lineberger has been involved in emergency services for over 34 years. Dee served as a volunteer and a part time employee of WEMA before becoming Planning Officer. Dee received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee, and his M.B.A. from Mississippi College. Dee holds numerous fire and Emergency Medical Services certifications including EMT, Engineer, HazMat and Extrication.
